I came across a Seed that got me to thinking about how so many of our problems are caused by a lack of education or the ability to use the education we do have. It also made me think about how our many and varied problems can sometimes be overcome by simply concentrating on one problem at a time. If we concentrate on one problem we often find that solving that one brings about a solution to many.

Problem solving is what human intelligence is all about. We have the ability to overcome problems that sometimes seem too complex, too ingrained, too large and too scary.  We sometimes think we will be defeated by complexity when our problem is actually very simple if we just look at it in the proper way. The referenced Seed pertained to a German Village that has solved energy related problems through changing how energy is generated, controlled and utilized. In the comments that followed this article we can see that no two people perceived the problem solved in the same way. In fact, few recognized the essential problem but brought up other things they though would be problems for anyone trying to replicate the German success in the US. I think this variance is caused mostly by a lack of education. The people commenting exhibit intelligence and a lack of education at the same time.

I propose we look and see what it is that Germans can do that Americans can't. Could it be that Americans could achieve the same success if they would only educate themselves and then look at alternative energy from a slightly different perspective than they have been led to hold?  Where do we get the needed education? We get it right here, right on line, and it is free. No need to pay for a special book or special guidance. It is right here for all to get. 

This link is thrown in here to illustrate that commonly accept facts are not fact. Solar power does not have to be as expensive in initial cost as many will tell and many more are willing to believe. There are solar panels available that cost less than $1 per Watt. There are components for solar systems that are much more affordable than those offered by many of the companies currently installing across America. You just have to educate yourself.

I  wish people, in general, would adopt a singular position on installing solar energy of their own.  Generating ones own energy can lead to solving so many of the world's problems I am dumbfounded that we don't see more about guiding ones own destiny more often in the news. By learning about and utilizing all the possibilities of solar power generation we can free ourselves from dominance by the Corporate World. We can become masters of our fate. We can turn the transfer of wealth from the individual to those in control be becoming individual controllers. It can be done, it just takes an education.
