With my history, especially my early history on Newsvine, you probably wouldn't expect me to ask this question but it struck me that in certain quarters I and others are slinging around our candidates names pretty freely. I am beginning to wonder whether we should be doing this.

I just received a survey issued by my Congressman Zack's office which asked me to fill in some choices which left me with comments I felt should be made. There was no room for comment. So I went to his .gov site and sent him an email through its Contact Us utility.

I voted for Zack Space and may do so again. BUT, he didn't get to Washington by accident. He just may have gotten there through lack of attention, spitefulness and greed of my own party, the Republicans.
