Creation was more of an opus than a creation. I say this because the words have no meaning that is universal. Words mean different things to different people. You may find that what I have written here is written from a white, American, Christian point of view. I wish I could write in other words and other languages but I have been made incapable of that by virtue of my birthplace and culture. I have adapted the Christian part so that Christians may better understand what I write but I write not as a Christian. I am a Deist that loves Christians, and everybody else as well.
Through this essay or series of essays I hope to lead, teach, influence and enlighten all my fellow human beings in understanding of why I call myself a Deist. I also would like the world to see creation from my viewpoint. When I finish I would hope to enlist others in furthering my Deism as widely as possible. There are some specific answers to ancient and contemporary questions which I hope to convey. Once you read what I have to write I hope you will maybe return and see the words here have new and rewarding meanings. But, in the end, I hope you will not even need the words.
1. Where do I come from?
2. Why am I here?・
3. Is there a God?
4. What is my truly native language?
5. How can I heal my illness?
6. What is good and what is evil?
7. Why are there wars?
8. Why are there so many different gods or religions?
9. Will there be a heaven?
10. What is technology? What is the Cloud. Where does my sustenance come from.
11. Are there mysteries we will never know?
12. What does it all mean?
13. Is this all there is?
You ask a question and I hope to write your answer in the following pages. If you don't begin to see the possibility for an answer soon after you read, I must be doing something wrong. I hope not.
In the beginning there was light. The light was Good. The light was God. God was the light and God was omnipotent and omniscient and omnipresent. God was everything, Light was everything and there was no difference or division between God and light. God, in his own way, decided to create a world. He thought and studied all around him for much of eterenity past but in the end he created what you and I know as Earth, as people, as animals and as grass. He created it all. Eventually he created man. In time he found that man needed a companion so he created woman. There, in the world of his creations, he had a Heaven. He had a place, a people and a time for all that was good.
Everything and everyone was Light. Light as the world has never seen it since. God, his creation, Light were all joined together in Heaven. God's desire was that the Earth would become a garden, a haven, a home, a place where all the things in his Creation could reside. He wanted no return from anything or anyone in Creation. What he wanted was for all to join in making eternity a pleasing and loving experience. For God was Love and love was good and the light and the people were all one.
God made one provisional requirement of the two people. They were never to partake of the sinful degradation of themselves or any others that might become part of Heaven. He actually placed this requirement on all parts of creation but only the people were capable of breaking his rule. The people were placed in charge of everything else and admonished that they would lose all if they disobeyed. Things went well until either the man, Adam, or the woman, Eve discovered fire and proceeded to anger God with their sinfulness. The fire arrived when lightning struck a tree. Eve was particularly excited by the flames and sparks that resulted. They gave her great pleasure. The pleasure came from watching small fires become large ones. Adam liked that the flames killed some of the animals and that the animal flesh tasted much better when the flames had done their work. Soon they were both taking pleasure in seeing fires and watching the grass burn and the animals die. They began starting fires just to see all of the destruction. And that is when God got angry. God wasn't angry because of the fire. He wasn't angry about the loss of grass or the death of the animals. Oh, no. He wasn't angry about the people being pleased or excited by their discovery. What did anger God was the people having a good time over destroying parts of Creation. The grass and the animals died for no good reason other than the pleasure of the pair. That was the original sin. That the people could destroy even a small part of Creation. This is when God made Adam and Eve leave from Eden or Heaven. All Hell had broken loose.
Adam and Eve and the people who came after were set free by God. Not only did he set them free he refrained from getting involved in their affairs in any way. God retired to Heaven but he kept one eye on Creation. It is well he did. After many generations God looked at Earth and discovered that people had become very evil. They had degenerated into society that lived only for themselves. They took no heed of God's laws and became focused on individual pleasures that had developed due to God's absence and the people's selfishness. God was angered and looked for a solution. He found one man and his family that he knew were good people and who could be salvaged. God instructed the good man to prepare a great Ark and then God produced a great Flood completely destroying the earth and all of those within. The only people saved were on the Ark.
After the Flood the waters receded and people once again were free to live their lives with free will and that they proceeded to do. Eventually some of the people became jealous of God remaining in Heaven while they were confined to Earth. The began to gather and discuss ways of obtaining Heave without the aid of God. Eventually they tried climbing the hills. Next they went up mountains. They tried all kinds of ladders and devices to gain height but could not rise to the height needed. One day a rock pile was started. It grew higher and higher. Soon they were in the clouds and well on their way to the stars. When God found that the people were spending all of their time, thought and assets on building this tower to Heaven he knew he would once again take some action. People were never going to change, even after being thrown from Heaven and and drowned by flood they persisted in folly. God came up with a plan. The people had worked together, become a mob, and with cooperation had managed to build their great tower of rock. God's solution was to destroy the tower and at the same time people would no longer be able to get together and create such a construction. He struck them dumb and then gave them all a different way to communicate. Henceforth they would speak with different tongues and not be able to talk to each other. They would be unable to make a union capable of going against God's will.
This all happened in Babylonia and the tower became known as the Tower of Babel. After the destruction of the tower the people were sent across the Earth with no ability to understand large communities of others.
